Stories at your place
Library staff visit junior classes with interactive stories and plays for the children to act. This programme is designed to develop literacy and encourage a love of books and libraries.
Hundreds of classes visit the library each year and hear stories, do plays, explore the library by doing scavenger hunts, do craft activities and play games. The aim is to promote reading while increasing the children's knowledge through fun activities.
