Business @ the Library – Introducing

Tauranga City Libraries is pleased to offer access to the popular online learning tool, from this month. Lynda is an extensive database of online videos designed to help users learn technology, software and creative skills at their own pace. There’s also a particular focus on business topics, with users being able to learn business skills, communication, management, leadership, marketing (including digital), accounting, project management, the use of business related software and much more. Content varies across the subjects and can include one off videos or ‘learning streams’, which are a series of videos that advance the user through the topic. Users can customise their Lynda experience by identifying areas of interest, creating playlists, starting and stopping videos as they need to, or downloading videos for offline viewing. All of this makes Lynda a valuable tool for business owners and their staff, for whom finding the time or money to attend formal training can be a challenge.

We invite you to come along to one of our upcoming Business @ the Library evenings for more information and a demonstration of
