Please note: All library locations will be closed from 2.30pm on Wednesday, 18 December for a special staff event.

All Te Ao Mārama - Tauranga City Libraries locations are closed on:

  • Friday, 27 December

Please note that Te Ao Mārama - Tauranga City Libraries will always be closed on public holidays and that items will never be due on public holidays.

Note: the heritage & research room (He Puna Wānanga) is closed on Sundays

Car parking

Charged on-street parking is available in the surrounding streets and the Spring Street Parking Building is a short walk away (pedestrian access via Grey Street Arcade.

Car Parking

Free parking is available out the front of the Pāpāmoa Library and Community Centre.
There is a drop-off zone and mobility parking spaces.

Te Ao Mārama - Greerton Library

Saturday & Sunday:
9.30am – 4.00pm

Car Parking

On street parking in Greerton is free, but time restrictions apply.

There is a drop-off zone and one mobility parking space on Greerton Road, outside the library.

Te Ao Mārama - Mount Maunganui Library

Open 6 days

Monday to Friday:
9.30am - 5.00pm
Saturday:
9.30am – 4.00pm
Sunday: Closed

Car Parking

On street parking at Te Ao Mārama - Mount Maunganui Library is free, but time restrictions apply.
Two mobility parking spaces are available on Maunganui Road. There is no drop-off zone.

Mobile bus

Te Ao Mārama - Mobile Library

The Te Ao Mārama Mobile Library endeavours to park in community locations with easy access to parking. The bus has a height adjustable step allowing for easier entry.

We are happy to assist you, please ask the mobile librarian at your community stop.
