Beamafilm allows you to stream over a thousand movies and documentaries for free.
Beamafilm
You can use Beamafilm on a smartphone, tablet, PC, or Mac. You can also view videos on your TV by connecting your TV to a computer or device via Apple TV, HDMI cable or Chromecast.
It’s easy to get started – all you need is a Te Ao Mārama - Tauranga City Libraries membership and access to the internet.
Please note that there are some restricted titles available on the Beamafilm platform. Viewers will be asked to confirm that they are of the appropriate age to continue watching.
Signing up for Beamafilm using a browser
- Go to the Beamafilm website.
- Click on Sign Up in the top right corner of the screen
- Click on Use your participating library card
- Type Tauranga City Libraries in the Select your library box
- Login to your library account using your library card number and PIN
- Create your personal Beamafilm account. You can do this by entering your name, email, and password, or by using your Facebook or Google details
- You will get a Registration successful! message. Click on the Login button
- Login with the same details you have just set up to begin browsing
- Once you have created your Beamafilm account, you can use that to login without having to enter your library card details again
Signing up for Beamafilm using the App
- Download the Beamafilm app from the App Store or Google Play
- Swipe right until you come to the sign-up screen
- Select Library Card Access: FREE
- Type Tauranga City Libraries into the Choose library field
- Login to your library account using your library card number and PIN
- Create your personal Beamafilm account. You can do this by entering your name, email, and password, or by using your Facebook or Google details
- Login with the same details you have just set up to begin browsing
Once you have created your Beamafilm account, you can use that to login without having to enter your library card details again.
