Kids Code

Code club

Code Club @ Tauranga City Libraries is a free introduction to basic coding using Scratch, Python and HTML Script. Your child will have the opportunity to create computer games, animations and websites in a fun and collaborative environment. PCs and Laptops are available for the standard groups, which cater for children aged between 9 and 13 years old and iPads are available for the junior groups, which cater for children aged between 5 and 8 years old.

Whist a registered teacher is on hand to facilitate the coding, we are on the hunt for volunteer programmers and software developers! If you’d like to give your time to help run a Code Club session, and mentor our young programmers, please get in touch.
