About Song Lam QSM, B.Ed
Song Lam QSM is an Auckland-based Chinese New Zealander, researcher of Māori culture, educator, and community leader. Since migrating from Hong Kong in 1990, she has promoted Māori language and culture through seminars, workshops, and Matariki celebrations, while building connections between Chinese and Māori communities and supporting new migrants. She was awarded the Queen's Service Medal in 2006 and recognised as a Local Hero in 2014.
