Join us for an honest conversation about death at the library's Death Cafe with Gaylene Delaney
A ‘Death Cafe' is a friendly and welcoming gathering where people come together to talk about death, dying and end-of-life experiences.
It is a safe and non-judgemental space where you can share your thoughts, feelings and questions about death.
By exploring death in a supportive and comfortable environment, we can deepen our appreciation for life and consequently make the most of what time we have left.
Gaylene Delaney is an end-of-life doula and registered nurse with a passion for caring for and supporting others through some of life's most difficult transitions. She has a wealth of experience in mental health, dementia and palliative care.
This presentation is open to everyone however due to the sensitive nature of the topic it is recommended for a mature audience.
