Join Heather Down as she shares her journey after her son’s dyslexia diagnosis — a moment that changed the course of their lives forever. In this open and honest talk, Heather takes you through three chapters of her son’s childhood: ages 0–6, 7–12, and 12–18.

Now the founder of Love Literacy Mount Maunganui, Heather is a structured literacy specialist, advocate, and podcast host dedicated to helping children who learn differently.
