We run a wide range of school holiday activity programmes. These sessions are extremely popular and always in high demand. They are held at all our libraries. Don’t miss out!

Nga Manu Ataahua – Beautiful Birds

Learn about New Zealand’s amazing birds with stories and songs and then make a bird feeder and a cool bird badge to wear.

Spy School Tools

Join us to hear tales of spies from the past and make some spy tools of your own. We will create a code cipher and periscope to get you on your way to becoming a super spy.

Make a Book Trailer 

An opportunity for tweens/teens to make a trailer for a book they have read. The workshop will run over two sessions and there will also be an event for participants and their families where all the trailers will be shown, and prizes awarded.
