During the last few years, Te Ao Mārama - Tauranga City Libraries has reduced the number of charges for customers. This means that there is less to pay for when you visit us. We have taken the opportunity to review the need for cash and as a result our Library Community Hubs will be cashless from 31 March 2025.
We know this might be a tricky change for some and we’re committed to helping you with it. Next time we see you, we can walk you through what other payment methods are available and how we can help you set yourself up to use them. Let’s take the time to do this together.
More information on how the change affects Council payments such as rates and dog registrations.
